A free public parking area is located across the street from the house. Ideally located in a breath-taking area, it is close to the Chassezac gorges (10 km) and numerous other rivers where swimming, canoe and rafting activities are available. Noteworthy sites include: the Pont-d'Arc, the Caverne du Pont-d'Arc, the Aven d'Orgnac cave, the Cocalière cave, the medieval village of Joyeuse, and numerous other picturesque villages in the surroundings. Meridional Ardeche is also a region with a remarkable architectural landscape, featuring numerous roman churches dating back to the 11th-12th centuries, such as the one built in Payzac itself. The local food is a characteristic instance of French traditional terroir cuisine, ensuring that one's holiday has its fair share of savoury experiences.
In southern Ardeche, between vineyards and fields of olive trees, located deep into the Monts d'Ardeche Regional Natural Park and at the vicinity of the Cevennes Regional Natural Park, you will find our traditional guest house, nested in its scenic landscape. On the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen is sitting next to the living room with a flat screen TV, couch and numerous chairs, and board games are available as well. The whole house is equipped with air conditioning - expect for the third room - and broadband internet connection. Surrounding the house, a terrace with outdoors furniture is available in the shade. On the first floor, one will find two rooms with a 140cm- and 160cm-width bed, both with a balcony, and one bathroom with a toilet for the whole floor. On the second floor, one bedroom with a 140 cm bed and a bathroom with toilet as well. Bed sets and bathing towels are provided. A private, enclosed yard is also available 30m away from the house with a shaded area, with outdoors furniture and a ping-pong table.
