Mas de la Giralde: Les Cigales

Mas de la Giralde is a character stone farmhouse situated on terraced grounds of 15000m2, and well-located in the beautiful commune of Payzac in the Southern Ardeche. Elements of the buildings date back to 17th century. The Southern Ardeche nestles between the Ardeche Mountains to the north and the Mediterranean coast further to the south giving a Mediterranean style climate. The house and gite have been completely renovated and updated to a very high standard ensuring that your stay will be as comfortable as possible. The main house also offers two bed and breakfast rooms. There is a large swimming pool (10m x 5m) available for your use (May to September) as well as access to the gardens. Your hosts, Nick and Fiona, live on site and are readily available to help and answer questions as necessary.

Les Cigales is our gite at Mas de la Giralde. Les Cigales is part of the main stone house and benefits from its own independent access and large private terrace. The terrace is south-facing and is partly covered providing views across the gardens and valley. Les Cigales provides the ideal base to relax in a tranquil environment either by the pool, or on your private terrace, or around the gardens.

Les Cigales offers 48m2 of space including a double bedroom with a double bed, cabinets and wardrobe. The bathroom is equipped with high quality fittings including shower, toilet, hand basin and mirror, hairdryer and a towel rail. The living room is a feature of Les Cigales being extremely spacious and providing a well-equipped American style corner kitchen which includes fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and a wide variety of cooking utensils and equipment.

The living area is furnished with a large corner sofa which quickly and easily transforms into a double bed. We provide a TV and DVD player, and a variety of board games to keep guests entertained when necessary. The terrace is furnished with a BBQ, dining table and chairs.

We provide all bed linen as well as hand towel and shower towel for each guest staying with us. A full inventory list is available on the website.

A reservation in Les Cigales, in addition to the features above, will give you free off-road parking, shared access to the swimming pool during the summer season, and freedom to wander or sit in the gardens and grounds.
