Via Ferrata with Face Sud - Pont du Diable

Since a long time, crossing the Ardèche required inventiveness from the locals. Firstly they crossed by fords, then they built bridges and finally they thought of a clever system of gondolas held by cables according to various ingenious techniques.

Difficulty :
Ideal for a first approach of the activity , this via ferrata is of an intermediary level. It requires a good physical condition. No experience in via ferrata is necessary.

From the age of 10, for young athletes.

Duration :
Count between 2.30 hours and 3 hours for this half-day.

We supply :
Harness, helmets, ropes, double rope up, carabiners, pulleys, and double lanyard with tearing energy absorber.

What to bring :
• A small backpack

• A water bottle

• Sportswear

• Closed Sneakers

• Bicycle gloves (if you have)

• Small snack : cereal bar for exemple

Access and meeting point :
Access : From Vallon pont d’arc (1 hour required ) :

Take the direction of Ruoms and Aubenas.Once in Aubenas follow thi direction of Le Puy, cross "Lalevade d'Ardèche", cross "Pont de Labeaume" and follow"Thueyts".Before the village of Thueyts take on your left direction Pont du diable.

Meeting point: On the car park below the road which leads to “le pont du diable”
