For its 1st edition, Ardèche Gravel invites the cyclists to a great journey through time where they could discover Ardèche landscapes and its numerous artworks built at the end of the 19th century, according to the chosen package.

Since 1968, Ardèche is the only county in France with no passenger trains. Nevertheless, Marc Seguin, Ardèche-born, was the creator of the tubular boiler for steam locomotives. His creation will have allowed the building of many railways now converted into "cycling tracks / green ways".

One of them, the Dolce Via, won the prize of the most beautiful "European cycling route of the year 2020" in Utrecht, Netherlands. This itinerary is particularly suitable to gravel bikes.
