The traditional Bugne Festival at Saint Jean le Centenier.
The volunteers of the Bugnes & Fêtes association are delighted to invite you to this not-to-be-missed event.

All weekend long:
Bugnes for sale, nativity scene exhibition, wooden games, mini animal farm, make-up workshop, Father Christmas and Madame Bugne, refreshment bar, village lights....

The programme:

Saturday 3 December :
2.00 pm: local producers' market and opening of the cots.
2.30pm: Street entertainment for children (circus, magic show, clowns and barrel organ) and presence of Father Christmas and Mrs Bugne.
5.30pm: "Histoire d'une Bugne" sound and light show
6.00pm: Corsican polyphony concert in the church. Free admission.
7.00pm: aperitif and catering - foodtruck on site.
8pm: fireworks offered by the Town Hall.

Sunday 3 December:
10.00 am: Opening of the cots and the Christmas market - craftsmen and regional products. Competition for the best bugne: open to all - samples to be submitted before 10am (rules on the website www.bugnes.com )
11.30am: Street entertainment, stilt-walkers, bandas
3pm: 24ᵉ chapter of the bugne brotherhood. Parade with the bugne brotherhoods and Corsican songs.
17:30: Closing of the festival. Illumination of the village square, balloon release and presence of Father Christmas and Mrs Bugne.
