More information

This magnificent "building of metamorphoses" bears the mark of the six seigniorial families who lived there from the 14th century until the Revolution.
The Château d'Aubenas is a veritable compendium of art history. Its construction began at the end of the 13th century with the keep, and it was gradually transformed under the influence of its various owners (the Montlaur, Maubec, Modène, Ornano and Vogüé families), each of whom in turn modified it to suit the architecture of their era. Discover its mullioned windows, spiral staircase, turrets, roof, etc.
Listed as a historic monument in 1943.
