Welcome to the "Terrasses des Sielves", a beautifully restored 17th century stone building in the heart of the southern Ardèche, a few kilometres from the Ardèche Gorges and the Chauvet cave.
180 m² of vast interior space, carefully decorated (sandstone stones, chestnut wood, ironwork…), 5 bedrooms with exceptional facilities (shower room + privateWC, Wi-Fi, all 4G networks…), a magnificent swimming pool area reserved for our guests (petanque ground, bar) with a panoramic view over the valley.
The swimming pool (9m x 3m50 – flat bottom 1m35), open from May to September, has an immersed beach for young children. It is equipped with the necessary safety devices (perimeter railing + electric shutter). All the necessary equipment is available [sunbathing area (x11), sunshades (x5), tropezienne, boules and Mölkky, toys for the children, refrigerator in the bar area…].
The house has 2 independent living rooms with UHD TV, an indoor dining room, a contemporary design kitchen, a large covered outdoor terrace to enjoy meals away from the sun….
An efficient central heating system allows us to comfortably accommodate our guests in all seasons. During the winter period a decorative wood-burning stove is available in the main living room.
The gîte is situated in a small hamlet of a few houses “Les Sielves” in the municipality of Chambonas, next to the village of Les Vans and its traditional market. All food shops are within a few minutes.
For sports enthusiasts, a hiking trail crosses the hamlet; the river Chassezac is directly accessible (2 km) for swimming or canoeing; the Ardèche gorges and the Pont d’Arc are nearby.
