Burzet's calvary is part of the unique 32 stations in Europe from the 18th century. Each Holy Friday, more than 60 "burzetins" (people from burzet) offer a disguised reconstitution of the Christ Passion along the cross walk.

Each year, every holy friday, hundred of pilgrims follow the procession along the wordly known cross walk. The calvary path starts from the church of Burzet (first station) then goes down the hill along the old "roman route" built during medieval age to link the south of Ardeche to the Puy en Velay.

At the fifth station, the path continues towards the left then cross the little hamlet of Belvézet where you will find the Notre Dame chapel built in the honor of "Notre Dame des Septs Douleurs".

At the top of the path (840m) three crosses overlook the village. The path goes down along the hill and join the departure itinerary. The 32 oratories, also called stations are built in granit.
