L'Antre Peaux
Handcrafted, local and sustainable leather goods made from French vegetable-tanned leather.
Atelier l'Antre Peaux is based in Chassiers in the Ardèche.
Since 2012, I have been creating original designs, from the idea to pattern-making and production. The entire manufacturing process takes place in the workshop.
The leather used is rigorously selected for its origin, quality and production method. I work exclusively with vegetable-tanned leathers from the best French tanneries. These leathers have the particularity of becoming more beautiful with time and use, developing a patina with deep, satiny tones.
I’ve chosen to create timeless designs that will stand the test of time without ever going out of fashion, with a few nods to the handbags of yesteryear.
