Aïkido

Aikido is the art of neutralizing violence by rendering it ineffective. It uses evasive movements, joint locks, throws, and immobilization techniques. Instructors: Mickaël Desbos and Moïse Maigret.

Aikido is a martial art of peace and harmony, created in Japan by O-Sensei Morihei Ueshiba before the Second World War. Derived from traditional Japanese martial arts, it is now practised as a non-violent martial art that promotes peaceful conflict resolution without competition.

Aikido is also an excellent form of physical exercise, helping to improve flexibility, balance, and overall well-being. As it relies on technique rather than physical strength, it can be practised by anyone—men and women of all ages and abilities—allowing everyone to benefit from its physical and mental advantages.
