Which Pass’Ardeche should I buy?
Choose from a range of passes covering a weekend, a longer stay, or a full year for local residents, providing options for visitors who just want to visit a few sites as well as those who want to enjoy everything that Ardeche has to offer.
Pass’Ardeche gives free access to 40 sites and a discount at 2 others:
- A reduction of 25% at Safari de Peaugres on the cost of a full-price one-day ticket (adults, children, and disabled, on sale on spot)
- A reduction of 10€ with Montgolfières & Co on the price of a flight (subject to weather conditions and availability).
- On the Ardeche Train, the ‘Train des Gorges’ itinerary is free with the Pass.
Activation and Pick-up : Your Pass activates upon your first visit. Passes purchased online can be collected by presenting your voucher at the reception of the first site you visit. (Please note: Passes purchased directly on the Grotte Chauvet 2 – Ardèche website must be collected exclusively at the Grotte Chauvet 2 reception desk).

With the Pass’Ardèche, how can I save money on my visits?
Generally, you’ll start saving money after your 3rd or 4th visit with a 3-Day Pass, after your 5th visit with a 6-Day Pass, and after your 7th visit with an Annual Pass.
The amount you save decreases with each visit. It also varies depending on which attractions you choose to visit.

How do I access the sites with my Pass’Ardèche?
The Pass’Ardèche is a prepaid card that provides unlimited access to 38 cultural and recreational sites throughout the department. There will be no additional cost for admission (excluding extra charges for special events).
At the Peaugres Safari, enjoy a 25% discount on the full-price one-day admission ticket, available on-site at the ticket counters for adults, children, and people with disabilities.
At Montgolfières & cie, enjoy a €10 discount on the price of the flight (subject to weather conditions and availability).
How is the validity period of my Pass’Ardèche calculated?
Its validity period begins on the first visit and lasts for 3 days (72 hours), 6 days (144 hours), or 365 consecutive days.
The Pass’Ardèche must be validated at the entrance to each site visited (one entry per site per Pass during the Pass’s entire validity period, excluding any additional fees for special events).
Do you need to reserve tickets before visiting the sites?
To ensure you can visit on your desired date and time, reservations are required for: Chauvet 2 Cave – Ardèche, the Ardèche Train (line Train des Gorges), Valrhona’s Cité du Chocolat, Melvita & L’Occitane Factory Tour, and Montgolfières & cie.
You can book these tours before purchasing the Pass’Ardèche.
The Chauvet Evenings in July and August are not included in the Pass’Ardèche. You can attend the Chauvet Evenings by paying an additional fee at the reception desk on site; no reservation is required.
When can I access the Pass’Arèche sites?

Do I need to buy a Pass’Ardèche for a child?
There is no “Kids’ Pass” because, depending on their age, many tourist attractions already offer free admission and discounts. Depending on the attractions you plan to visit, you may or may not want to purchase a Pass’Ardèche for your children.

The Pass’Ardèche is issued in a specific person’s name and is valid for one person.
Can Pass’Ardèche passes be registered under the same name?
Pass’Ardèche passes purchased online will be registered under the same name if you place a group order. This won’t cause any problems for your visits; simply present the exchange vouchers sent by email after your purchase to pick up the passes at the reception desk of the first site you visit.
