In this workshop, you'll learn how to weave plants with Maryline. She welcomes you to her work space, an intimate, dreamlike setting dedicated to creation, to share her passion and the secrets of her craft.
Through her experience, Maryline has been inspired by the spontaneous basketry found in nature. Fibre by fibre, she deconstructs the technique to get back to basics. As she harvests her raw material, she feels the need to respect its shape and authenticity. Maryline creates by instinct, according to the inspiration of the day.
Open the doors of her workshop and you won’t be disappointed. You’ll discover how to manipulate the fibres to create your own object or personalised work.
Maryline will teach you the gestures, postures and tools of the basket-maker. It’s a gentle way to learn this age-old craft, at your own pace.
