Canoe guiding – Family and children under 7 with Christophe Pernot

Instructor certified as a Nature Guide by the Syndicat de Gestion des Gorges de l'Ardèche et de la Réserve Naturelle.

I propose to accompany you on the 6 km mini descent from Vallon to Châmes.
This route includes the mythical passage under the natural arch of the Pont d’Arc!

I’ll meet you in Vallon Pont d’Arc at a partner canoe rental company close to the river.

After an explanation of the essential rules of navigation, we’ll embark to discover the pleasures of the river and its rapids, for which I’ll be responsible for safety. The youngest children will be in my boat, so you can enjoy the descent without any difficulty. We’ll take time out for a swim, a rock jump or just lazing around…
I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have about the flora and fauna of our region and its geological features.

3 possible departures for the day:
In the morning (8:30/11:30 a.m.), in the afternoon (2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. except July/August) or in the late afternoon * (4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.) when nature takes over and the river is less busy.
* Aperitif offered under the Pont d’Arc for late afternoon descents!
To take part in this experience, you’ll need suitable clothing: swimsuit or shorts, closed shoes, cap, sun cream, towel, water bottle, smiles! And a snack if you wish. The rest of the equipment will be provided at the start: boat, lifejacket, paddle, waterproof can.

Possibility of a longer day trip or a 2-day bivouac in the Ardèche gorges!

From Wednesday 1st of April to Thursday 15 of October between 8 AM and 9 PM.

One price: 30 to 45 € (price per person according to age, number of people and time of year.).
