Canoë – Kayak de Ruoms à Châmes – 13 km avec Patou Bateau

Meet at 11:30am: in Châmes (Point 7) – End of the course.
Our team will welcome you and give you a short briefing on the descent and safety instructions.
You will then be transported by shuttle bus to the start of the course.
From the outset, you will be on a calm section of the river with no rapids, ideal for getting your bearings.
The experience quickly becomes more fun: you will go through five slides, small slides specially designed to make the trip even more enjoyable. These passages, both technical and dynamic, offer you the first thrills of the descent.
The second part of the course takes you to small rapids, perfect for gently experiencing the pleasures of white water. Laughter, splashes and light sensations are guaranteed. Then comes one of the highlights of the excursion: the Charlemagne rapids and the passage under the famous Pont d’Arc, a majestic natural arch formed by the river itself. A spectacular setting that leaves a lasting impression.
At the end of this adventure, you can get straight back on the road, as your car is in the car park right next to the finish line.
Requirements:
Be in good physical condition,
Be able to swim,
Be over 7 years old.

Clothing:
Old trainers or water sandals (shoes that stay on your feet). For your safety, avoid shoelaces.
Long shorts and T-shirt (beware of sunburn).
Cap, sunglasses, and don’t forget a cord to tie them on.
Out of season: bring a wool jumper to wear next to your skin and a windbreaker + a change of clothes for when you arrive.
Neoprene wetsuits are available for hire.

In any case, don’t forget:
Swimsuit and towel.
Water (at least 1.5 litres per person) and your picnic (no food that can spoil in the heat).
A change of clothes for when you arrive.
Avoid bringing rings, chains or other fragile or valuable items.
