Departure: Meet at 8:00 am at our reception in Sauze. The shuttle leaves at 8:30 am.
Equipment return: 4:30 pm / 5:00 pm
Set off on this day-long adventure in the heart of the splendid Ardèche Gorges.
This day trip is considered challenging, especially during the summer when water levels drop and temperatures rise – a classic scenario in the Ardèche. Allow between 6 and 7 hours of navigation depending on your stamina and the conditions at the time. This adventure is therefore mainly aimed at people who are in good physical shape and ready to take on a physical challenge while enjoying exceptional landscapes.

Very quickly, you will enter a spectacular world. The Pont d’Arc, the natural gateway to the Reserve, marks the entrance to a majestic canyon where calm areas alternate with faster passages. Each bend offers a different setting, between vertiginous cliffs, clear waters and silence.
You must be in good physical condition, know how to swim and be over 7 years old. You set off independently without a guide. Boats with children must be steered by someone who is reasonably fit.
Ideal clothing:
Shoes that stay on your feet (old trainers or water sandals, avoid laces)
Long shorts and T-shirt (sun protection recommended)
Cap and sunglasses, with a cord to keep them in place
Out of season: woollen jumper, windbreaker and a change of clothes

Don’t forget:
Swimsuit and towel
At least 1.5 litres of water per person and a picnic (avoid heat-sensitive foods)
A change of clothes for when you arrive
Avoid wearing valuable items such as rings, chains and fragile accessories
