Departure: Meet at 8:00 am at our reception in Sauze. The shuttle leaves at 8:30 am. Departure at 10:30 am is possible in July/August.
Equipment return scheduled for the following day: 4:30 pm / 5:00 pm
Immerse yourself in a life-size adventure with this 30 km descent over two days in the majestic Ardèche Gorges. From the very first paddle strokes, the scenery takes hold: vertiginous cliffs, crystal-clear water, vibrant silence punctuated only by the lapping of the river and the cry of a bird of prey. The route alternates between peaceful areas where you can let yourself be carried along by the current and livelier passages that awaken your sporting spirit, offering an experience that is as contemplative as it is physical.
As the day progresses, the river reveals increasingly impressive panoramas, sculpted by thousands of years of erosion. It is a total immersion in a preserved environment, where nature reigns supreme. At the end of the afternoon, the adventure takes on an even more magical dimension: setting up camp in the heart of the Ardèche Gorges Nature Reserve. Under the starry sky, far from any light or noise pollution, time seems to stand still.
In the early morning, the Ardèche reveals itself in a soft light that invites you to set off again for the second part of the descent. Between relaxation and adrenaline, contemplation and pushing your limits, this trip offers a concentrated dose of emotions and authenticity. Ideal for lovers of wild nature, outdoor sports enthusiasts or those who simply want to experience a timeless break, this adventure promises memories that will last a lifetime.
You must be in good physical condition, know how to swim and be over 7 years old. You will be travelling independently without a guide. Advance booking for the bivouac is required.
Ideal clothing:
Shoes that stay on your feet (old trainers or water sandals, avoid laces)
Long shorts and T-shirt (sun protection recommended)
Cap and sunglasses, with a cord to keep them on
Out of season: woollen jumper, windbreaker and a change of clothes

Don’t forget:
Your camping essentials (sleeping bags, change of clothes, warm clothes for the evening)
Swimsuit and towel
At least 1.5 litres of water per person and a picnic (avoid heat-sensitive foods)
Change of clothes for arrival
Avoid bringing valuables: rings, chains, fragile accessories
