Canoe – Kayak from Vallon to Châmes – 6 km with Rivière et Nature
Easy to access, this course is perfect for families and beginners. Let yourself be seduced by the peaceful rhythm of the descent, admire the majestic Pont d'Arc, the surrounding landscapes and take advantage of the many beaches to stop off.
Schedules and shuttles
Departures: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., non-stop
Return shuttles: 12pm, 1:30pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm
Activity schedule
Meet at our RIVIERE ET NATURE base in Vallon Pont d’Arc.
On arrival, our team will welcome you and give you a full briefing on your chosen course.
You will then receive your equipment and get ready to board.
Our driver will take you to the starting point, and the descent can begin!
You’re on your own, at your own pace, unaccompanied.
On arrival, our minibus will meet you at the time indicated on your registration form to take you back to base.
Recommended equipment:
Comfortable sportswear: shorts, t-shirt, swimsuit and closed-toe shoes.
-Sun protection: sun cream, sunglasses, cap or hat.
-For inclement weather: windbreaker or K-way, and a change of warm, dry clothes.
-For your glasses, think of a cord to avoid losing them.
-Don’t forget to keep hydrated; you can also pack a picnic lunch to make the most of your descent.
Storing your gear
Watertight canisters are provided to protect your personal equipment. Their watertightness depends on how they are closed, so take care with water-sensitive equipment. For added security, you can use additional plastic bags or waterproof bags.
