Canoeing from Sampzon to Chames – 12 km with Rivière et Nature

Departures: 8:30 am (high season) 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm (high season)
Return shuttles: 1:30pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm

Activity schedule
Meet at our RIVIÈRE ET NATURE base in Vallon Pont d’Arc, 35 minutes before your shuttle departs:

-Welcome and full briefing on your route.
-Equipment distribution and preparation.
-Shuttle transport to the boarding point.
-Unaccompanied descent at your own pace.
-On arrival, our minibus will pick you up at the time indicated at registration and take you back to base.

Recommended equipment
Comfortable sportswear: shorts, t-shirt, swimsuit and closed-toe shoes.
-Sun protection: sun cream, sunglasses, cap or hat.
-For inclement weather: windbreaker or K-way, and a change of warm, dry clothing.
-Glasses should be tied with a cord to prevent loss.
-Don’t forget to bring water and a picnic if you want to enjoy the river to the full.

Storing your equipment
Watertight canisters are provided to protect your gear. Their watertightness depends on the closure, so be careful with water-sensitive equipment. For added security, use additional plastic bags or waterproof bags.

-Small store (snacks and canoeing equipment)

From 01/07 to 31/08/2026 daily between 7.45 am and 8 pm.

From 01/09 to 30/09/2026 daily between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm.

From 01/10 to 11/10/2026 daily between 9 am and 6 pm.
