Canoeing from Vallon to Sauze – 32 km / 2 days with Abaca / Ardèche Aventure
The route follows that of the 24 km plus about 8km from Salavas, crossing the Charlemagne rapid and the highlight of the day: the passage under the Pont d'Arc.
Over the course of the day, the lucky sailor will have the pleasure of discovering an imposing landscape in the heart of the Ardèche gorges nature reserve, where natural miracles such as the natural arch of the Pont d'Arc and the cliffs, which rise up to 300 metres high, come together.
Paddling time: around 3 hours per day
Shuttles depart from our water sports centre at 11am, meeting point 1 hour before (contact us for other times).
Your vehicles can be parked close to the landing stage at Saint-Martin, so you can paddle down the river at your own pace and collect your vehicle as soon as you arrive (without having to wait for a return shuttle).
We invite you to book your bivouac in Gaud or Gournier for the night you wish on the website of the Office de tourisme Gorges de l’Ardèche Pont d’Arc. You can rent an overnight stay with or without a tent.
