The Complete Gorges Tour : Four days to discover a listed village, the Pont d'Arc and the Ardèche Gorges Nature Reserve, with two nights camping and a bivouac – now that's adventure!
Departure between 9am and 11am depending on our schedule for the day.
Return at 4.30pm/5pm on the 4th day.
The first two nights will be spent at our partner campsites located along the route and by the river.
A bivouac in the Gorges between the third and fourth day of navigation:
Gaud bivouac or Gournier bivouac, depending on availability.
Remember to book your overnight tickets in advance on the Tourist Office website. Please contact us for information about campsites.
Requirements:
Be in good physical condition.
Be able to swim.
Be over 7 years old.
Clothing:
Old trainers or water sandals (shoes that stay on your feet). For your safety, avoid laces.
Long shorts and T-shirt (beware of sunburn).
Cap, sunglasses, and don’t forget a small cord to tie them on.
Out of season: bring a wool jumper to wear next to your skin and a windbreaker + a change of clothes for when you arrive.
Neoprene wetsuits are available for hire.
In all cases, don’t forget:
Your camping essentials (sleeping bags, change of clothes, warm clothes for the evening)
Swimsuit and towel.
Sufficient water (1.5 litres per day per person). Refills available at the bivouacs.
Picnic food for the 4 days (no food that can spoil in the heat).
Avoid bringing rings, chains or other fragile or valuable items.
