Intermediate canyoning – Haut Chassezac intermediate – day – South face
The Chassezac winds its way through a sun-drenched valley between magnificent granite cathedrals. Discover the exceptional erosion of these gorges. Swimming, slides, jumps and abseiling under waterfalls are the rhythm of the day.
15 minute walk to reach departure point, 45 minute walk on the return leg.
Half-day adventure.
Please bring:
– Trunks or swimsuit and appropriate footwear such as non-skid sports shoes.
– Drinking water (at least 1.5l per person).
– Packed lunch (compact food only – neither fruit nor crisps).
– A snack such as a cereal bar.
Participants wearing glasses need bring a glass-cord.
Special canyoning non-skid footwear for hire – 3 € (wide range of sizes available).
Operational from the beginning of May until the end of September.

No experience in canyoning is required yet all participants must be fit and in good physical condition and not be afraid of putting one’s head under water.
Suitable from the age of 12 upwards.
