Via ferrata – Explo
Discover the Via Ferrata site in Villefort! Overlooking the Villefort dam built on the Altier river, you'll progress on cables, rungs and other footbridges in an exceptional granite setting!
This course opened in June 2011. It runs above the largest reservoir in the Chassezac hydroelectric network: the Villefort dam built on the Altier (a tributary of the Chassezac). You'll cross monkey bridges and zip-lines, and move along cables, rungs and other footbridges in an exceptional granite setting. An exceptional discovery!
Explo will show you the route in the Villefort area. A second one can be offered in the Thueyts area, further away, on request.
Conditions:
– 10 years and over, minimum height 1.40 m.
– Maximum 10 people
All our activities are supervised by state-certified instructors in the discipline in which they operate. The technical equipment supplied by EXPLO complies with CE standards.
