Visit to the Escargots des Restanques farm
Rémy tells you all about his snails, from birth to adulthood. During your visit, you'll discover the daily life of the snail farm in a joyful atmosphere.
PRESENTATION OF THE GUIDED TOUR
Outdoor parks :
Description of parks, structures, seeds, food, number of snails per park, growth process, predators…
Breeding :
Explanation of the snail’s reproductive cycle, method of recovering eggs, hatching, observation of snail eggs, spat (baby snails).
Presentation of the snail:
How to recognize the most common snails (escargots de bourgogne, gris, gros gris, turc, achatines…).
Explanation of the terms fasted, disgorged and what to do and what not to do.
Precautions to take when collecting snails from the wild.
Presentation of products from the farm: Snails.
Presentation of the different recipes from our production and the different ways of eating snails.
Throughout the visit, we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

From 01/07 to 31/08/2026 on Monday from 3 pm. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 am and from 3 pm.

Child (5-15 years): 4 €.
Free entry for children under 5.
