Dating back to the 10th – 16th C. , the castle of Tournon houses a museum labelled "Musée de France". Discover the rich collections from the Renaissance to the present day. Rooms with furnitures and collections linked with the Rhône river and the Fine Arts.
Overlooking the Rhône Valley and its vineyards, the Château-musée de Tournon-sur-Rhône enjoys an exceptional location and environment.
Classified as a Historic Monument and awarded the “Musée de France” label, it is both a place of memory and a place to live. Every year, the museum presents temporary exhibitions related to heritage and the visual arts. Numerous events for all publics (tours, children’s workshops, Enigmes et sortilèges for the autumn vacations… and national events: Nuit des musées, Journées européennes du Patrimoine) punctuate the seasons from March 18 to November 1, 2026.
