Chapel Notre-Dame du Rhône

Photo 2
The ancient chapel of a Dominican convent of the architect Jean-Baptiste Franque combines beauty with soberness.
At the end of the 7th century, it becomes a Benedictine convent and in 727 it is destroyed by the Saracens : the religious people take refuge while protecting the relicts of Saint Venance and moving them to Soyons (Ardèche). Created by Jean-Baptiste Franque.
