Stations of the cross
The stations of the cross of Boucieu is comped by 35 stations (calles chapels), decorated of sculptures. Starting from the church , it was built 200 years ago. Each year, for the good-friday, many people follow this path.
The large Way of the Cross consisted of 39 chapel stations. Unfortunately, it was destroyed during the French Revolution and rebuilt a few years later, but the locations of 4 stations have not been found. Today, it comprises 35 stations, a 5 km route through the village and surrounding countryside.
