Traces of the castle
From the castel, presumably build in the 12th and 13th century, remains only the wall of the north-west façade. It was the property of the family Balazuc. The solid defensive walls surrounded the village.
Enclosed village until the Revolution, it opens to exterior world thanks to two gates. The one towards north is called the gate of Rome and the other one towards west is the gate Pla-Monta and has been renovated in 1966.
