From its Devil’s Bridge and Renaissance-era alleyways to the stunning views from the spot where Marie Rivier – a French nun recognised as a saint by the Catholic Church – once lived, come with us to discover the charming village of Thueyts.
Thueyts is best known for its famous Devil’s Bridge over the Ardèche, overlooked by the imposing basalt flow of the Chaussée des Géants, a UNESCO geosite. The village also charms visitors with its medieval alleyways, dotted with Renaissance features. You can explore the private quarters where Marie Rivier, a native of the Ardèche who was canonised in May 2022, once lived, during an exclusive tour (including the kitchens, Marie Rivier’s bedroom and the chapel).
