Blou Art : artcraft fair
Meet the artists and artisans crafts during this event organized by the association Scarabée. Spotlight on the Ardèche artists who, for these two days, will "artistically" invade the walls of Château de Blou and its park. Workshops by la Tête en friche.
In the grounds of Château de Blou, built in the 11th century, in the centre of the characterful village of Thueyts, a tourist resort, the historic old town and in the shadow of the Château's turrets. Around fifty artists are taking over this event, welcoming you with a subtle mix of talents: plastic artists, ceramists, bronze artists, painters, watercolourists, pastel artists, sculptors, glass artists, cabinet makers, wood turners, photographers, jewellers, jewellery designers, basket makers, Japanese lacquer pen makers, various metalworkers, blacksmiths, all professionals.
La Tête en friche association workshops.
Transmission of knowledge (blacksmithing, wood, sculpture, basketry…)
Refreshments and snacks. Free parking.
This huge gallery invites visitors to enter the world of art and creation that makes Blou’Art a not-to-be-missed event in the Sud Ardèche.
As interest in the arts and crafts grows, the Association Le Scarabée is ready once again this year to showcase the exceptional skills and latest creations of artists and craftspeople, in a delicious blend of talents that will never cease to amaze you.
