Concert "La Mal coiffée"

In its new creation, BUF, La Mal Coiffée continues to follow the overgrown paths, los camins bartassièrs, the paths less travelled – those that lead deep into the forest, bringing us closer to birdsong, the deep hum of the humus and the gathering of wild herbs. Along these paths of poetry that awaken our connection to the Living World, the voices, breath, hands and words of La Mal Coiffée continue to seek an expression of joyful resistance. A song that dreams of freeing our imaginations from the grip of all forms of domination and alienation.

With BUF, La Mal Coiffée transforms and welcomes Carla Gaudré and her baritone saxophone. Carla has shaped and enriched the sound of her instrument through a musical journey open to every kind of exploration. Today, she brings that sound to the sonic material that La Mal Coiffée loves to shape, taking Laurent Cavalié’s poetry into a new dimension.

By welcoming Carla Gaudré, La Mal Coiffée reaffirms its singular identity and gives musical expression to what it has always sung: that difference is a source of richness.
