Concert "Minor Sing"
A rising star of today’s gypsy jazz scene, Minor Sing has made its mark in recent years on some of the finest stages in France and around the world, Buoyed by the success of their album Djangolympics.
From Fontainebleau to Bogotá, from Paris to Quito, their tours have taken them far beyond Europe, right to the heart of Latin America.
From these journeys came new colours, new rhythms and new stories.
After several tours in Latin America, the band returns with a new show announcing the release of their upcoming album, Éléphant, scheduled for June. Deeply inspired by the music encountered along the way, the landscapes they travelled through and the people they met on these journeys, this album marks a genuine turning point in Minor Sing’s history.
Always guided by the legacy of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, the musicians are opening their horizons wider than ever. Their compositions are infused with distant sounds and new rhythms, while asserting a distinctive identity: gypsy jazz in motion, curious about everything and free from borders.
Modern, virtuosic and deeply accessible at the same time, their music combines elegance with energy. Humour, ever-present on stage, goes hand in hand with outstanding musical excellence, creating the direct and warm connection with the audience that has become Minor Sing’s signature.
