Dance performance: Gasherbrum/Eroding the Peaks
The Loge22 collective presents *Gasherbrum / Éroder les cimes*, a choreographed piece inspired by the mountains, following the conclusion of its artistic residency.
Following their creative residency in Montpezat-sous-Bauzon, the Loge22 collective is showcasing their work with a residency showcase centred on *Gasherbrum / Éroder les cimes*.
Inspired by Werner Herzog’s film *Gasherbrum, the Luminous Mountain*, this new work takes the mountain as the starting point for a choreographic and poetic exploration. The artists explore high-altitude landscapes and the relationship between the body and vertigo, gravity, exertion and the environment, in a production that blends dance and text.
The Loge22 collective is hosted in Montpezat-sous-Bauzon as part of an artistic programme organised by the Format association, in partnership with the local council and the Montpezat-sous-Bauzon media library, and the Monts d’Ardèche Regional Nature Park.
