Guided tour of Alba-la-Romaine and discovery of the Maison Louis Latour

Accompanied by a guide, wander through the narrow streets of the medieval village, a designated Village of Character. Then, in your car, head to the Louis Latour house for a tasting and a presentation of the cellar.

At the foot of the Coiron massif, in the middle of the wine-growing plain, this "Village of Character" bears witness to a rich history spanning over 2,000 years, to be discovered at three sites spread across the Escoutay River. Alba Helviorum, capital of the Helvi people since the 1st century BC, and medieval Aps with its picturesque streets nestled at the foot of its imposing castle built during the feudal era. Finally, not to be missed: the hamlet of La Roche, below the village.

As you stroll through heritage and landscapes, extend the experience with a tasting at Maison Louis Latour. Established in Alba since the late 1970s, this prestigious Burgundy winery produces refined Ardèche wines, primarily from Chardonnay, respecting tradition and using cutting-edge technology.

⚠️ To get to Maison Louis Latour, you need to use your car; the guide will accompany you to the cellar.
