Step back in time as you explore the old village of Thueyts! Guided tours, available all year round for groups by prior arrangement, will reveal the rich and captivating history of this Celtic village, once known as Athogis (during the Roman Empire). Nestling between the Gravenne volcano and the lava lake of the Prat volcano, Thueyts offers a unique and astonishing landscape, shaped by the River Ardèche, which has carved out the magnificent Chaussée des Géants gorges.
If another themed tour (geological tour) is scheduled for Tuesday in the village, the guided tour will not take place.
