Heritage Day: the restoration of Saint-Bonnet Church
To mark European Heritage Days, the local council invites you to discover the work recently carried out on the clock and bells of Saint-Bonnet Church during a guided tour.
To mark European Heritage Days, come and see the restoration work carried out on Saint-Bonnet Church, and in particular on its clock and bells.
Following its complete restoration, the 430 kg bell was returned to its place in the belfry on 28 July. The clock has also undergone a complete restoration, enabling its mechanism to regain its original function and appearance.
During this tour, you will discover the various stages of this work, as well as the elements that make up this local heritage, which is sometimes little known.
This restoration project, led by the local council in partnership with the Fondation du Patrimoine, raised over €12,000 in donations.
