Jazz sur un Plateau is an itinerant festival in Sud-Ardèche, mixing jazz, soul, blues and funk in heritage sites. These friendly concerts, featuring emerging artists and headliners, take place in the heart of the villages.
The Jazz sur un Plateau festival returns in 2026 with an eclectic program of jazz, soul, funk, salsa and world music, featuring both headliners and original creations.
Highlights include salsa icon Yuri Buenaventura’s new album Ámame, a blend of Afro-Caribbean heritage, poetry and Latin rhythms.
Pianist Jérémy Hababou takes us on a sensitive journey through jazz, classical music and oriental influences, carried by a strong emotional intensity.
On the creative side, Mara Dupont Trio explores Balkan traditions revisited in contemporary jazz, while JAV Contreband – Chants de femmes pays homage to the great female voices (Nina Simone, Björk, Janis Joplin…) between jazz, soul and rock.
Festive music takes center stage with El Proyecto, a Latin jazz group with Cuban influences, and Malabaar, an Afrobeat funk collective with powerful, danceable grooves.
The Soulstice group will be bringing its warm, accessible soul, carried by five musicians and a repertoire mixing revisited classics and modern tracks.
There’s also plenty of live energy with Les Invendables, a rhythm’n’blues / soul tribute, and Shake The Swing, who elegantly revisit swing and rock’n’roll from the 20s to the 50s.
The program also opens up to singular universes with Dyer, between French chanson and alternative rock, Bretons de l’Est, a festive collective with European accents, and La Famille Reynette, a family band with multicultural and popular influences.
With groove, emotion and musical diversity, this edition confirms the festival’s identity: a convivial, lively and open experience of today’s music in the heart of the villages of the Ardèche.
