Soulstice (8pm) opens the evening with warm, energetic soul, a mix of revisited classics and modern sounds. At 9:30pm, Yuri Buenaventura takes the stage with his elegant salsa, blending emotion, brass and Latin rhythms.
SOULSTICE – opening act – 8pm
Soulstice is a five-piece band featuring vocals, guitar, bass, drums and saxophone. Together, they revisit a soul repertoire ranging from classics to more modern songs, with original arrangements that reflect their musical identity. The group offers dynamic, accessible live concerts, mixing rhythmic tunes and ballads in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Each member brings his or her own sensibility and experience, contributing to a coherent, well-balanced sound. Soulstice is aimed at a varied audience, whether soul music fans or those simply looking for an authentic musical moment, driven by the energy of live performance.
YURI BUENAVENTURA – 9:30pm
After a 6-year absence, Yuri Buenaventura, the famous Colombian musician best known for his magnificent cover of “Ne me quitte pas”, released his latest album “Amame” in 2024, produced by Vivienne Music Label. The album is described by its author as “a musical dream, a tribute to the Latin music of New York”, blending pop melodies with urban percussion accompanied by brass instruments, and achieved thanks to the fusion of virtuoso musicians brought together for the occasion: a Colombian pianist from New York, a Cuban bassist from New York, a Spanish trombonist from New York… On this 10-track album, written and composed by the artist himself, Yuri Buenaventura pays tribute to the great New York Latino musicians who have been a true source of inspiration for him. Salsa was born right there between Brooklyn and Harlem, on the corner of brass and jazz poetry! Music makes our emotions dance and vibrate. The artist also wishes to transmit a memory with “Aquí llegamos”, her first single, a hymn to men “on their feet”, to all those men in the world who face up to the world with dignity. It’s also a chance to catch up with the Boss of Salsa, discovered in France in 1996, and plunge into his refined, sometimes melancholy universe, while discovering tracks from his new album “Amame”. The artist will also be performing his signature songs that have made his international reputation.
