Organ and piano concert

To mark the Fête de la Musique weekend, Viviers Cathedral is hosting an exceptional concert combining organ and piano, on Saturday June 20, 2026 at 6pm.

Organized on the initiative of Noa Rodrigues Antunes, the cathedral’s organist, this concert inaugurates a new series of musical events designed to showcase the organ in a new light, through programs combining different instruments.

Beyond its artistic dimension, this event also carries a strong message: to raise public awareness of the worrying situation of the cathedral’s organ. A true witness to the monument’s history and a major part of Vivar’s heritage, this instrument now requires restoration to restore its full richness of sound and ensure its transmission to future generations.

A blend of music, heritage and commitment to safeguarding an exceptional cultural asset, this concert invites music lovers, residents and visitors alike to share a special moment at the heart of Viviers cathedral.
