'Palaeolithic Cooking' activity: Prehistory activities at the Grotte Chauvet 2

What did people eat in prehistoric times? In September and over the first weekend of October, come and discover the ‘Paleo Cuisine’ activity at the Grotte Chauvet 2 – Ardèche!

Stew or kebabs? Come and discover the secrets of prehistoric cooking at the heart of the reconstructed Palaeolithic camp, set in the wooded grounds of the Grotte Chauvet 2 – Ardèche!

Over the course of 30 to 40 minutes, chat to our guide and find out how our Palaeolithic ancestors ate, prepared their food and cooked on a daily basis.

– Weekdays: continuously from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm
– Weekends: continuously from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 4.30 pm

Activity suitable for all ages.
In the event of bad weather, the activity will be cancelled.
All activities are included in the admission ticket.
