Performance: ‘Journey on the Spot’
The former Bourlatier farm, a 17th-century building emblematic of the architecture of the Ardèche mountains, presents the show “Voyage sur Place” in partnership with La Cascade, the National Circus Centre (Bourg-Saint-Andéol)
*Voyage sur Place* is an autobiographical one-man show in which Alain Reynaud recounts his childhood in Bourg Saint Andéol with humour and tenderness.
The show captures a bygone era and explores both family ties and childhood memories with which many of us can identify.
Voyage Sur Place goes far beyond a simple compilation of childhood memories. Through this story, through the portrayal of his family members and the inhabitants of this small town in the Ardèche (Bourg-St-Andéol), we are immersed in a world in which everyone can recognise themselves. While the novelist recounts life through fiction, Alain Reynaud, the clown, recounts here what is at once funny, naive, flawed, and therefore human.
Performed by: Alain Reynaud (director of La Cascade, Pôle National Cirque, and co-founder of Les Nouveaux Nez & Cie)
Adapted and directed by: Alain Simon, assisted by Gilles Jolly
