"Saveurs vivaroises" Exhibition

Discover the exhibition “Cooking in the History of Viviers”! Combining gastronomy, the humanities, and public health, immerse yourself in this unique cultural event in Viviers. A captivating experience awaits you!

In keeping with the theme of the Festival of Science, the CICP presents various exhibits showcasing the history of cuisine in Viviers over the centuries, from Roman times through the 20th century. Among the items on display are Roman oysters found in Viviers, shop signs, photos of sugar sculptures created by pastry chef Paul Laurent, and a few kitchen items from the Cité Blanche.

The exhibition is on view through Friday, November 13, at the Viviers Library.

Self-guided tours are available during library hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. (7 p.m. on even-numbered weeks), and Thursdays and Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The opening reception is scheduled for September 18 at 6:00 p.m. at the Viviers Library.
