Éloge de la Pifométrie is a genuine fake “scientific” lecture covering a vast field of approximation!
The aim is to finally establish, once and for all, the exact size of a Chouïa, the thickness of a Lichette, the distance covered by a Trotte, and the subtle distinction introduced by a Sacré Trotte, to name but a few units, while uncovering the fundamental principles governing approximation.
This quest is undertaken by an engineer who is hardly gifted for this kind of task and receives very little help from circumstances.
