Wild lanterns festival

For this new edition, the trail has been enhanced with brand-new light sculptures inspired by extreme environments!

3,000 illuminated lanterns invite visitors of all ages to explore the planet’s most extreme environments: deserts, high mountains, polar regions, oceans and the depths of the abyss. Fennec foxes, yaks, polar bears, penguins, deep-sea fish and other animals come to life on a trail that reveals their astonishing adaptations to the cold, the heat, the lack of water and even the darkness.

The journey continues with a stop-off inspired by the Californian coastline, teeming with sea lions and pelicans, before a colourful finale centred on the Mexican Día de los Muertos.

For this sixth edition, the route has been completely redesigned and offers new perspectives on the Wow Safari Peaugres at dusk. Beyond the magic, Lumières Sauvages raises awareness of the richness of the animal world and the need to preserve fragile ecosystems.
