Gîte d'étape "La Louisette"
For hikers in search of authenticity and nature lovers. Overnight accommodation in a 19th century farmhouse, shared between travellers. Meadow for horses. Close to Tour de la Montagne Ardéchoise, PR, GR de Pays, river, peat bogs, etc.
The Cab'riou farm has been committed to preserving biodiversity for over 30 years, and opens its doors to mountain farming.
We welcome you to our gite in the heart of the village of Issanlas, at an altitude of 1220 metres.
Breakfast, based on products from our farm, is included in the price, as are bed linen. Farm produce is available on a self-service basis, so you can stock up on supplies on the spot if you need to.
The gîte sleeps 11 people:
– 7 places in the dormitory, in bunk beds (4 downstairs, 3 upstairs)
– 2 people (double bed) in the period bedroom, with an old-fashioned children’s wardrobe bed (1.50 m long). It is located on the first floor and shares the landing with the dormitory.
– 2-seater (double bed) in the alcove room overlooking the kitchen (for short people, as it is a built-in bed 1.75m long).
The gîte d’étape is 200m from our farm; come and share our passion for farming with us during the evening milking.
