The Grande Traversée de l'Ardèche VTT runs north-south from Annonay to Bourg-Saint-Andéol over 315km. You'll discover the Mézenc and Gerbier de Jonc mountains, the Païolive forest and the Ardèche Gorges.

Joining the Roman road, this 5th off-road stage reaches the corniche of the Vivarais cévenol and its highly contrasting landscapes. The breaks in slope are so brutal that you don't just descend from the plateau, you fall off it. Leaving the magnificent Thines valley to your right and the magic of its perched village, you plunge through woods alternating between conifers and chestnut trees. You'll pass through small hamlets of old stone houses with slate roofs. After a long trek through the woods, punctuated by a few clearings, the Grande Traversée de l'Ardèche VTT reaches the stopover town of Les Vans.
