The Grande Traversée de l'Ardèche VTT runs north-south from Annonay to Bourg-Saint-Andéol over 315km. You'll discover the Mézenc and Gerbier de Jonc mountains, the Païolive forest and the Ardèche Gorges.

From Les Vans, pedal to the Bois de Païolive, a magical wood, a rocky maze of natural sculptures with evocative names such as bear, lion and elephant. A moment's respite as you cross the Jalès plain to the Font Vive spring, a sumptuous Vauclusian resurgence. This part of the GTA VTT stage then becomes sportier, as you reach the Col de la Cize and enjoy some superb, well-deserved views, before plunging over Salavas to Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, gateway to the Ardèche gorges.
