In fact, strongly inspired by the Crozes Hermitage wine-bike loop, this itinerary has been adapted for a more gravelly connotation, so you won't miss any of the interpretation panels, all the while following the best gravel paths in the area. Of course, you'll pass by the perched tower of Mercurol overlooking a large part of the vineyard, the remarkable Château de Conflans at the foot of the mythical Hermitage hill, the charming village of Crozes Hermitage, and the chapel of St Pierre.
The signage follows that of the mountain bike trails and includes specific markers for gravel routes. It indicates the route’s suitability as well as its technical difficulty level (green, blue, red, or black).
