Itinerary details
Explore one of the most interesting and less accessible natural sites in the area: the Daronne Gorges. A superb hike around the plateau and the river making its way through it.
The Belvédère de Saint-Sorny offers a breathtaking view of the intertwined meanders of the Gorges de la Daronne, which you then cross via an attractive suspended footbridge. Don't forget to stop off at the 13th-century Saint-Sorny chapel. In spring, you may be lucky enough to witness the love parade of the Short-toed Eagle, or observe the passage of a beaver or otter, the characteristic fauna of the Daronne Gorge.
