Lavandes
Its origin in the western Mediterranean region the lavender was already used by the old romans to treat their laundry and to perfume their baths.
The lavender was used in Provence in the Middle Ages to produce perfumes and medicine. From the 19th century on, its cultivation and its use changed. There are numerous species of lavender.
