Le suc de Bauzon (volcano summit)
The Suc de Bauzon is a 1471m-high strombolian volcano. Its peak is shared between 4 districts: le Roux, Montpezat, Saint Cirgues en Montagne and Usclades et Rieutord. Its lava flow, up to 30-40m thick in some places poured in the bed of the Loire over 8kms.
